Estimator/File Handler:

Estimators / File Handlers work directly with the customer. Strong customer service skills are required along with the ability to:


Estimator:

  • Initiate and develop a structured sales atmosphere directed toward, assessing customer needs, comprehensively documenting and estimating vehicle damage repair costs, and closing/capturing sales.Use windows based programs including ADP, CCC, and Mitchell collision damage estimating software, and proprietary business management software.
  • Follow specific procedures for documenting and estimating damages and repair costs based upon different insurance company rules and guidelines.
  • Work closely and continuously with all people involved in the collision repair process including customers, insurance adjusters, technicians, vendors and office staff.

File Handler:

  • Transform sold collision repair orders into production through insurance claims verification, parts sourcing and acquisition, and resource allocation.
  • Negotiate with vendors.
  • Work directly with sales estimator to care for, and handle aspects the repair process for the customer.
  • Production planning.
  • Maintain continuous interaction with customers, vendors and staff.
  • Attend and or lead daily production meetings.
  • Maintain highest levels of customer service through accurate and thorough project setup, as well as acting to solve cycle time issues as they arise in production.
  • Maintain written documentation and digital images to ensure insurance company claim payment.
 

 

Project Manager:
Candidates for this position should have 4+ years of experience in AutomotIve collision repair, and be proficient at weld on, as well as bolt on panel replacement, door skin replacement, metal finishing, Plastic repair, electrical diagnosis and repair, light mechanical repair, and light to moderate structural repair. Candidates for this position should also posses very good organization skills and enjoy working closely with others on team projects.

ICAR training and ASE certification preferred or we will provide.

Repair Apprentice:

  • Reading work orders
  • Analyzing estimated damages
  • Checking in parts
  • Supplementing for parts or repairs
  • Using hand tools correctly
  • Metal finishing
  • Assembly and disassembly
  • Using repair materials correctly
  • Identifying errors in workmanship
  • Organizing tasks to maintain schedules


 

 

Vehicle Refinish:
Responsible for producing error free paint work through the use of appropriate steps in preparation and using refinish products and chemicals in accordance with manufacturer prescribed procedures.

Candidates for this position should have 3+ years of experience full time Automotive refinishing. Candidates should be proficient in ALL phases of paint prep and be comfortable adhering to standards and procedures. Candidates should be proficient in color blending and matching, proper use of materials, precise color mixing, OEM quality topcoat application, and near dirt free paintwork. Candidates should be comfortable working with others in a team environment. SATA spray equipment, ICAR, ASE or Paint manufacturer training preferred or we will provide.

 

 

Body/Refinish Apprenticeship:
Paint Prep:
Candidates for this position need not posses any Automotive collision repair experience, as we will train. Candidates who may have some experience, but fall short of the requirements for journeymen technicians are also encouraged to apply. Candidates will learn the basics of refinish preparation, Block sanding, safe and proper use of chemicals and tools, primer mixing and application, proper cleaning techniques and masking. Upon successful demonstration of ability and consistent high quality work, candidates have the choice of going on to learn the fundamentals of body repair, or learn the skills of production spraying and finish application. A generous tool assistance program is available at this point, as well. Candidates must posses excellent work ethic, communication skills and motivation. Candidates also must have solid work references from previous employers demonstrating the aforementioned behavioral qualities on the job. Many of our best people have developed their skills through this program and "tripled" their starting hourly wage in 2 years or less!
